Ashleigh Pugh is a descendant of the Noongar People from Whadyuk Country. She is an emerging artist and has been involved with Baluk Arts for twelve months. Ash is an accomplished painter and has found a new media in intricate flora and fauna portraits that she combines with sterling silver to create earrings.
The coastline of the Mornington Peninsula is deeply important to her work. Ash is often fishing and collecting shells and other treasures from the shoreline which informs her practice.
