38Kunda Beamo was born in Melbourne in 1941 and is of Yamadji descent. He is a self-taught artist who draws inspiration from reclaiming his identity and culture. Kunda Beamo’s work has been included in numerous exhibitions, museums and art awards in Queensland, around Australia and overseas.
Beamo has depicted the Sydney Opera House inspired by when it was lit up at night.
